Long-Term Hypnotherapy

While hypnotherapy is often regarded as short-term, goal-oriented work, it can also be used as an alternative to traditional counseling or coaching.

A number of clients have asked if they can see me regularly they way they would a therapist. This kind of long-term work often begins with the question, “Can I keep coming back? Do people do that?” Yes! People do, and they find it deeply enriching.

Why Hypnotherapy as an Alternative?

What attracts most long-term hypnotherapy clients is discovering

  • how working with the subconscious can give them immediate access to insights never gained through years of conscious exploration.
  • the way hypnosis can so quickly dissolve the disconnect between what the heart wants and what the mind wants.

Techniques

With long-term clients, I use a blend of different techniques including hypnotic direct suggestion, interactive guided imagery, parts therapy, and regression (discovering the core cause of conscious resistance). I also implement traditional counseling and coaching techniques.

Using Art To Tap into the Subconscious

For those who enjoy writing, making art, or working with artistic images, I have additional tools and techniques to help you access your subconscious.
